International Relations Department

The International Relations Department of Osh State University is a key structural unit responsible for developing and strengthening international cooperation in education, science, and culture. Its activities aim to integrate the university into the global educational space, expand partnership networks, and enhance OshSU’s competitiveness at the international level.

Core Principles of Activity:

  • Developing cooperation between OshSU and leading international scientific and educational institutions.
  • Creating platforms with universities to exchange experiences and implement joint initiatives.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Establishing and developing relationships between OshSU and other universities, educational institutions, and scientific centers.
  • Collaborating with foundations, institutions, and representatives of the scientific and cultural community to improve the educational process, scientific innovation, and cultural life of the university.

Key Areas :

  • Participating in strategic perspectives for the development of OshSU’s international relations.
  • Preparing analytical reports on international cooperation issues.
  • Providing the university leadership with necessary documents and information on international activities.
  • Organizing agreements, contracts, and memoranda with foreign partners.
  • Analyzing the effectiveness and monitoring the implementation of international agreements and arrangements.
  • Preparing proposals on international cooperation for university leadership and the Academic Council.
  • Creating and maintaining a database on the international activities of OshSU’s academic staff.
  • Handling foreign correspondence and promptly informing relevant university departments.
  • Maintaining relations with foreign countries and facilitating OshSU’s integration into international educational and scientific processes.
  • Consulting faculties and departments in developing international projects.
  • Promoting the participation of academic staff and students in international educational programs.
  • Organizing and hosting international scientific conferences, forums, and seminars.
  • Promoting the achievements of academic staff and students at the international level.
  • Organizing meetings and accompanying foreign partners, coordinating their cooperation with the faculties.
  • Advising foreign citizens on the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of education and OshSU’s internal regulations.
  • Organizing and coordinating the academic mobility of students and faculty in accordance with OshSU’s Academic Mobility Regulation.
